Being an exercise physio he understands body mechanics much better than someone who is just a personal trainer. I have some physical issues (Achilles, knees, back) which he has done a great job helping me to strengthen all while progressing at a safe pace. We have been working together for just two months and I’ve lost several pounds of body fat and gained several pounds of muscle. In addition to weight training he’s helped me improve my cardio workouts and my endurance has also improved. On top of everything else he brings a positive energy and humor to every session. I have been training with CMT Fitness for the past few months and it has been awesome! I had some injuries I was dealing with and was nervous they could be made worse from exercising but Anas did a great job at easing my worries and helping me get past those injuries. He is very nice, accommodating and has a great understanding of the body so he always knows the right amount to push me. I wanted to get results fast and efficiently. I’m a business owner so I don’t have a lot of time. I can’t spend three hours in a gym and I wasn’t looking for someone who would just give me a good pump and sweat. What I wanted was to get optimal results fast, using science. Personally, I like to understand the “why” behind what we are doing so that when I’m not with my trainer, I could go do these things by myself. I travel and work a lot so it’s important for me to know what I’m doing in the gym. I am an aging athlete who was having difficulty post surgery/injuries getting back into sports. I also travel extensively. The trainer has been super accommodating and we have had very successful virtual sessions as well as in-person. I have exercised most of my adult life, and have had previous trainers. There are many trainers, but he is incredibly knowledgeable about the science of exercise and flexibility. I am back to sports and have improved fitness.
